Distribution of Flower Production Areas in China
中国种植花卉的优势表现在种质资源、气候资源、劳动力资源、市场优势、花文化优势等几个方面。"十五"期间，中国花卉种植面积已达64万公顷，比"九五"期末的15万公顷增长326.7%。其中，种植面积5万公顷以上的省有河南、江苏、浙江、广东四省，2万公顷以上的有河北、山东、湖南、甘肃等省。中国花卉面积已占世界花卉生产总面积的三分之一。2005年全国有花卉市场2586个，企业64908个，其中种植面积在3公顷以上或年营业额在500万元以上的大中型企业8334家，花农1251313户，从业人员4401095人，专业技术人员132318人。"十五"期末全国重点花卉产区初步形成，品种结构进一步优化。区域化产业形成了以云南、四川、江苏、浙江、海南为重点的南方热带、亚热带花卉产区;以广东、福建为重点的南方热带观叶植物产区;以浙江、四川、河南、河北为重点的观赏苗木产区;以北京、山东、河北为主的北方花卉产区;以辽宁为中心的东北花卉产区。
The advantages of planting flowers in China lie in Germplasm resources, climate resources, labor resources, market advantages and flower culture advantages. During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, China's flower planting area reached 640,000 hectares, an increase of 326.7% over the 150,000 hectares at the end of the Ninth Five-Year Plan period. Among them, Henan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces have planted more than 50,000 hectares, and Hebei, Shandong, Hunan and Gansu provinces have planted more than 20,000 hectares. China's flower area has accounted for one third of the world's total flower production area. In 2005, there were 2586 flower markets and 64 908 enterprises in China. Among them, 8334 large and medium-sized enterprises with planting area of more than 3 hectares or annual turnover of more than 5 million yuan, 125,1313 flower farmers, 44,01095 employees and 13,2318 professional and technical personnel. At the end of the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, key flower producing areas in China were initially formed, and the variety structure was further optimized. Regionalized industries have formed southern tropical and subtropical flower production areas with Yunnan, Sichuan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Hainan as the key areas; southern tropical leaf plant production areas with Guangdong and Fujian as the key areas; ornamental seedling production areas with Zhejiang, Sichuan, Henan and Hebei as the key areas; northern flower production areas with Beijing, Shandong and Hebei as the main areas. District; Northeast flower production area centered on Liaoning Province.
